We were delighted to welcome back World Championships silver medallist, Matt Hudson-Smith
Matt started in our Academy when he was 9 years old and is now one of the top 400m runners in the world. As part of his visit Matt had arranged with his sponsor PUMA, that those attending his masterclass would also receive a pair of spikes. So not only did these young athletes get the opportunity to learn from him but they also took home some new spikes.
Matt was very generous with his time and interacted with many in the Club posing for photos, chatting about his journey, all of which was done with a smile on his face.
It was great to see him inspire these young athletes so much and to see him back on his home track where it all started. We are now looking forward to seeing him on the podium in Paris.
